Donation from the Wild Sheep Foundation Helps Fund Annual Grade 7 Jasper Field Study

Every year Ecole Pine Grove Middle School offers grade 7 students the opportunity to explore Jasper National Park for their end of the year field study. This trip enhances the grade 7 program in many ways with curricular connections to Science, Social Studies and Physical Education. As well students are able to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us and to remember the importance of protecting nature. Students spend the morning on an interpretive walk in Malign Canyon and the afternoon at the world renowned Miette Hot Springs. For the past few years we have been very fortunate to have received generous donations from The Wild Sheep Foundation, Alberta Chapter. This year, once again, they have been very generous and we received a contribution of $4000.00 towards this activity. A big THANK YOU from all of us at Pine Grove to The Wild Sheep Foundation!!
