Provincial Public Mandates - Step 2

As you are aware, Premier Kenney has proceeded to Step 2 in the province's lifting of public health mandates.  

As of Tuesday, March 1, 2022, all province-mandated school requirements to address the spread of COVID-19 have been removed. This includes masking, cohorting, and the use of the Alberta Health Daily Screening Checklist. 

Over the past two years, a number of Health Best Practices have been noted to minimize the transmission of the virus. These good habits include cough etiquette, hand hygiene, and staying home when sick. We encourage all of our families to continue these routines with their children. 

Staff and students who wish to continue to mask are supported to do so. The Division will continue to send masks to the school to support individuals' choice to maintain this practice. 

COVID-19 positive cases are still legally required to isolate.
